Cafelat Gasket - 8mm food-grade FDA silicone. Unlike original rubber gaskets, Cafelat gaskets are odorless and tasteless, simple to replace. Gasket is softer than original for a better seal. Cafelat specializes in espresso machine gaskets for the best fit.
Includes: Silicone Grease Molykote 111. Safe, flavorless, high-quality. Safe for food and your espresso machine. Prevents gaskets from sticking, resists weathering and water washout.
Silicone gaskets need silicone grease, other lubricants may harm the silicone.
Molykote 111- Industry standard lubricant with proven performance. Made in USA.
Instructions: 1- Take out old shower holder and gasket. 2 - Clean group head with brush. 3. Lubricate edges of the gasket sparingly. 4 - Install the gasket with "Cafelat" logo facing up against the group head. Flat side down for the portafilter.
Depending on usage, gaskets last from 6 to 18 months.
